Time to water those Indianapolis-area lawns.

August is proving to be a very dry month and lawns are beginning to show signs of stress. As of August 1st, central Indiana has received less than an inch of rain, and since June we are 3.5 inches below normal. That means it’s time to water. Grass is a hardy plant, but it needs a drink and now is the time to do it. Remember to water deep and infrequently (as in not every day) if you can avoid it.
